Sure Start Children's Centre

St Cuthbert’s School is one of the sites utilised by the borough to facilitate a Children’s Centre.

The Children's Centre provides a resource for parents, carers and children in our community.

A Children’s Centre is a place where local families with children under five years old can access universal children’s services. Children Centres provide easy access to a range of community health services, parenting and family support, integrated early education and childcare, and links to training and employment opportunities for families with children under the age of five.

The services and programmes offered in our children's centres include registered childcare; crèche facilities; drop-in sessions, dads' groups, and stay and play sessions; health advice; and post/pre-natal support.

The entrance to the centre is through the main school entrance.  Once inside, the reception for the centre is to the right hand side.
